Super Bowl XLIII in 3D

Once again the Super Bowl is upon us. And once again the holy day for advertiser is here.
It will mark the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest commercial of all time,
Apples 1984 introduction of the Macintosh computer.
Despite all the doom and gloom you hear from the press, 90% of the ad spots have been sold.
With a 30 second spots being sold for $3 million that is not bad.
Super Bowl XLIII between the Cardinals and Steelers will usher in a new era of advertising.
For the first time 2 TV ads will air in 3D, Pepsi Sobe and Monsters Vs Aliens.
Brought to you by a joint venture by Intel, Dreamworks and INTRU 3D.
The commercial are scheduled to air at the end of the second quarter.
You will need to pick up your 3D glasses at your local retailers Sobe display before game day.
The glasses will need some pre work, you will need a pair scissors to cut the glasses apart.
Best to do this before hand, you'll want to be ready when the big day comes.
The estimated cost of the 3D glasses and distribution is about $7 million
then an estimated $8 million for the 90 second spot. That is a big bet for 3D TV
and only time will tell if this multi million dollar investment will pay off.

Maybe next year we can see the whole game in 3D!

Best Park in Encinitas, Cottonwood Creek Park

Once again as I look around, I can not express enough my thankfulness for the GREAT country and bringing it closer to home, the city I live in. I absolutly love Encinitas. One of my favorite places to go in this great community is Cottonwood Creek Park. Located at the corner of Encinitas Blvd and Vulcan Ave. Aside from the fact that it is one of the only parks in Encinitas that has bathrooms (a big plus if you are bringing the little ones with you) Not to mention the great water features the kids can play in (be sure to bring the kids bathing suits and towels) climbing rock, and a play structure that would make Disney proud. Along with tennis and basketball courts. To add to all the great modern day features of Cottonwood Creek Park it also has a rich history in the Encinitas community as the first "watering hole" to the early settlers of Encinitas. Walk around and read the info signs. You then can roam the vast rolling grassy hills and plenty of room for picnic's, that brigs me to one of the best places for picking up your picnic
lunch. Is the Beachside Bar and Grill located at 808 S Coast Hwy 101. Sandwiches run in the $8 range and are made on fresh baked bread. Hands down the best penne sandwiches you will ever have.
Pick up a sandwich and enjoy a picnic at Cottonwood Creek Park!
